One of the most anticipated events of the year in Singapore is the Singapore HeritageFest which set sot bring about a congregation of many events to promote and educate the public about the multi cultural settings of Singapore. This is where the festival will be held for 2 weeks in the month of July and visitors are able to find out more about how the multi racial community in Singapore dwells and stay together in perfect harmony.

There will be a wide variety of events one can expect of the event that include exhibitions, tours, workshops, performances and such all of which are aimed at promoting heritage and culture of Singapore for everyone interested. Set to be both educational as well as interactive, one can expect a lot of participative events where participants are encouraged to appreciate the very nature of shared space, culture as well as heritage of the country. This year, the event will be run with the ‘Home-What We Love About It!’ theme so it is not so much for the tourists but is one which is targeted for the locals to know your history better as well as to acknowledge and appreciate it better. Among notable places to go include Fort Canning Park, Ang Mo Kia where the opening will be held and many more places around the island.
